Speaking after their victory, Kisumu Day tactician Booker Odhiambo congratulated his boys for playing well and promised to deliver the regional trophy in Kisii this year after missing out on the gong last year.
“Congratulations. At last we played the final and won fairly. These students have been working hard and they deserve to be where they are."
The job is not yet done. We lost to Agoro Sare last year but we want to return to the nationals this year and I believe we have the talent to take us there,” said Odhiambo.
Kisumu Day and Nyakach Girls will represent Kisumu County in football when the regionals kick off in Kisii School.
