Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Migos has announced that first-year students will receive their new admission letters by Monday, August 19.
This follows a directive from President William Ruto requiring universities to provide updated fee structures outlining the annual household contributions for degree programs.
"In accordance with the President's directive, the Ministry of Education is pleased to confirm that universities are beginning to issue new letters to the initial group of 125,893 students who have applied for loans and scholarships under the Student-Centred Model," Migos stated.
According to Migos, the process will continue as additional students apply.
