Kenya Simbas on Monday moved one place up on the World Rugby rankings.
Simbas las Saturday defeated Brazil 36-30 in the Stellenbosch Challenge Bronze match played at Markotter Grounds in South Africa.
Fijian-born fly half Jone Kubu scored 21 points to inspire Kenya to the win.
Victory saw the Simbas gain 1:44 points that have seen them move from 35th to 34th.
Kenya now has a total of 51:77 points on the rankings.
Brazil on the other side dropped to position 29 after the loss.
Namibia, who won the Stellenbosch Challenge Cup, gained 0.45 points in the win by the points were not enough to make them move from position 24.
Zimbabwe Sables lost 0.45 points in their final defeat and they drop down to position 33rd to 32.
South Africa and New Zealand remain as the teams ranked first and second but with reduced points totals.
