Kenya Police are the 2024 Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Cup champions.

Police were crowned champions on Saturday after defeating KCB 8-7 on post-match penalties following a 0-0 draw in regular and extra time in the finals played at Ulinzi Sports Complex.

Goalkeeper Patrick Matasi saved two penalties and scored the winner to send the Police fans in Langat into a frenzy as Police not only won the FKF Cup but also booked a ticket to play in continental football next season.

Police will now represent Kenya in the CAF Confederation Cup finals next season.

The win marks a better outing for Police in 2023-204 season where they finished third in the FKF Premier League behind only to record Kenyan champions Gor Mahia who won their record extending 21st title and Tusker.

Matasi ended up to take the Man of the Match award as his teammate David Owino was voted the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award.
