SWIMMING: Aga Khan Academy grabs trophy

Aga Khan Academy Mombasa scooped the overall trophy during the Coast Open and Age Group swimming championships at their backyard. The winners bagged 833 points, beating Mombasa Academy who took second position with 531 points.

Nyali Primary School were placed third with 369 points during the three-day swimming gala, which attracted close to 300 swimmers. Shree Swaminarayan Academy were fourth with 363 points while Bandari Swim Club settled for the fifth position with 269 points.

Others were Oshwal Academy (262), Mombasa Aquatics (157), Busy Bee School (149), KIvukoni Creek Kilifi (57), Coast Academy (55), Blue Ocean (33), Octopus (14) and Braeburn Mombasa International School trailed with 11 points.
