Equatorial Guinea player ages revealed, 14 players listed as 115 years old

The document, which has since been deleted, showed just how many players born outside Guinea will be appearing for the African side in the annual tournament.

Equatorial Guinea have revealed their 23 man squad for the African Cup of Nations but forgot to fill in the age section of the document leaving them all 115 years old.

Furthermore, the 14 ageing players named by Equatorial Guinea are Spanish-born, causing yet more controversy.

Although no strangers to calling up players imported from other countries, Equatorial Guinea were recently expelled from the Nations Cup qualifiers for fielding a illegible player Thierry Fidieu who is Cameroon-born.

However, with original hosts Morocco pulling out of the event with Ebola fears Equatorial Guinea offered to host the event and were restored as a result.

Thing is, it might be a difficult task for a side with 14 players with a reported combined age of 1610! What a schoolboy error.
