Champions Kenya Prisons, GSU out to extend their winning streak

Kenya Prisons and General Service Unit (GSU) will be looking to maintain their unbeaten run when the third leg of the 2024-2025 Kenya Volleyball Federation Men's National League serves off on Thursday at Nyayo Gymnasium and Volleyball Court.
Champions Kenya Prisons, who are keen to defend their title, will today take on their Western Prisons counterparts in the first of four encounters. Western Prisons will go all out as they seek to secure their first win this season.
Former holders GSU, who are determined to end to two-year trophy drought, will play Equity Bank. They are the only sides that are yet to taste defeat. Kenya Prisons top the table with 17 points from six matches while GSU are fourth with nine points from three outings.
Tomorrow, Kenya Prisons will tackle the National Youth Service (NYS) whereas GSU will clash with Kenya Forest Services (KFS).
Saturday will set the stage for an epic battle when Kenya Prisons and GSU square it out with either side set to dent their perfect run. Kenya Prisons and GSU will on Sunday complete their third leg assignments against Kenya Airport Police Unit (KAPU) and Kenya Army respectively.
Second-placed Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) will take on winless Mt Kenya Base Yetu as they seek to register their fifth win of the season. The bankers, who have won four matches and lost two, are tied on 12 points with the dockers.
Trailblazers and Prisons Nairobi, who are separated by three points and are currently sixth and seventh on the log, will clash today with a victory for either side enhancing their chances of qualifying for the playoffs. Trailblazers have nine points from five encounters while Prisons Nairobi have six from two wins and a loss.
NYS chase their first win against KFS while Prisons Rift Valley who 10th on the standings play Kenya Army who are two places below them.
