After two consecutive victories in the Africa Women Volleyball Club Championships, KCB’s Technical Director Paul Bitok has warned his players not to be complacent in their ambition to win the continental title.
Bitok said the task ahead was enormous and therefore players need to be keen in every match as they approach the knockout stages.
“We shall do our best as it’s always the wish of every coach to win but we must be keen on all teams that are in the tournament, because they are here for a reason,” said the experienced tactician.
Bitok spoke after the bankers registered their second victory thrashing Litto Team Volley (LTV) of Cameroon 3-1 (25-21, 25-14, 19-25 and 30-28) with the scores indicating it was tougher than their opening match.
Against the Cameroonians, he said they used middle blockers in quick attacks to make their game faster to avoid attacks from their opponents.
