15 -year-old boy defiles girl 10 years his junior

A five-year-old girl has been defiled by a 15-year-old boy. Homa Bay County Police Commander John Omusanga said the boy, who is the victim's neighbour, found the minor sleeping in her mother's house where he defiled her.

The girl's mother had left her baby asleep as she went to the nearby Rodi Kopany market. However, upon her return, she found her baby bleeding.

Upon committing the act, the boy tried to run away but residents got hold of him until he admitted committing the offence.

"The baby was seriously bleeding and caught attention of Good Samaritans who helped her mother take her to hospital," said Mr Omusanga.
