Jacaranda Darts Club made a positive start after winning two matches in a row in the Inter Club Championships that threw-off at Luxurious Gardens in Nakuru on Saturday.

Inspired by inform-international Millicent Wangui who is the current ladies singles champion, Jacaranda defeated hosts Luxurious 3-0 and thereafter received two walkovers against Royal Springs who did not show up.

Other walkovers were received by Njoro, Kirima B, Kabarnet and Club 5 over their opponents owing to different reasons, which included late arrivals and absenteeism.

Kirima B received two walkovers against Mai Mahiu and Molo as Njoro and Kabarnet gained points from Mai Mahiu.

Kabarnet also received a walkover over Ol Jororok with Starehe walking over Subukia.

On their part, Kirima A secured straight win against Starehe as Kabarnet defeated Njoro by a similar margin.

In another match, Jams beat Club 5 by two points.

Later, Club 5 also received a walkover over Mai Mahiu.
