The exploits of rising star Jadini Nzomo and that of Uruguayan Mauricio Sanchez Andre ensured Turkish Airlines secured a 7-3 win over SBM Bank in a mouth-watering Kenya International tournament match at Nairobi Polo Club over the weekend.

Jadini, who last weekend emerged as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) in the first chapter of the two-week-competition was in a class of his own as his partnership with Andre saw him score a double with Andre putting through four goals to steer Turkish Airlines to victory again.

"It was a good show to have emerged victorious and winning a coveted title in this prestigious competition," Jadini told Standard Sports on the first weekend of the tournament.

Earlier, an assist by Jadini ended in Bobby Kamani scoring the fourth goal for the winners in the two-weeklong competition that has exposed Kenyan players to renowned global players and experienced riders.

The Kenyan trio of Mbu Ngugi, Kelvin Jumba and Alstair James who combined with South African Dirk Van Reneen for SBM Bank saw only three goals scored for the losers.

SBM Bank's goals came through Reneen, Ngugi and James, all spread in the first three chukkas in a match that saw Cruz Novillo Astrada of Argentina play in one of the chukkas as he replaced one of the players.

Earlier, Turkish Airlines were held to a nine all draw with Veuve Cliquot with Hiromi Nzomo who played for the winners (Turkish Airlines) voted as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) after her elder brother won the same title last weekend.

Her feat as an MVP came in as a good omen after she recently graduated as a professional medical doctor from an Australian University.

Earlier, South African Alex Watson led Veuve Cliquot to a 6.5-5 victory over Tusker Malt in a match the winners started at the advantage of half fraction of a goal from their low handicap.

Watson who played alongside Kenyan trio of Julian Camm, Jamie Excell and Vincent De Brauwer saw Watson score five and Excell one for the winners as Reneen who joined Tusker Malt after playing for SBM Bank scored all the five goals for the losers (Tusker Malt).

Other members of Tusker Malt side were Vishal Somaia, Magda Jurkowiecka and Michel Morgan who gave all the assists to Reneen to score the five goals.
