Postal Corporation of Kenya (PCK) are through to the football finals of the 43rd edition of Kenya Communications Sports Organization (Kecoso) Games.

This after they hammered Ministry of Roads and Transport (MORT) 5-1 in a one-sided semi-final match at ASK Nakuru Showground yesterday.

Former Gor Mahia striker Eliud Lukwam was the hero with a hat-trick in the 73rd, 83rd and 84th minutes after Felix Oluoch and Faustine Ojiambo had shaken the net earlier in the 13th and 19 minutes.

Ian Eshikoko scored the consolation goal for MORT in the 48th minute.

PSK will face the winner between Talanta's Communication Authority (CA) and guest team Kabarak University in the final on Saturday.

"We'll give our best in the finals. But whoever we meet in the finals must prepare well for us since our aim is to win the title," Lukwam told Standard Sports.

Kabarak University coach Justine Oguta had said they are as well angling for the title despite being a guest team in the weeklong games.

"We are here for serious business despite being a guest team. I have capable players with an all round team that can win the title," he said ahead of their semi-final match.

In scrabble, CA won the scrabble title with nine points ahead of MORT seven points while Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) came third with two points.

Daniel Sonoiya of CA emerged as the best player with MORT coming out as the most improved team and KAA the most sporting team.

In table tennis, Nakuru Athletic Club (NAC) were the overall team winners with 12 points ahead of MORT with nine and PCK eight points.

MORT won the ladies team table tennis title ahead of NAC and KAA.
