Dancunson win seventh leg of NCBA Golf series at Karen

Home player Douglas Duncunson beat a team of 191 golfers to emerge the winner with an impressive 41 points in the seventh leg of the 2024 NCBA Golf Series that concluded at the Karen Country Club over the weekend.

The event which marked the seventh leg of the series that showcased exceptional talent across various categories saw Robert Keter, secured the runner-up position with 39 points in the Men's Division One category,

In the Division One Ladies category, Sarah Nyareru emerged top with 40 points while Hazel Kuria finished as the runner-up, scoring 36 points.

Ezekiel Owuor triumphed in the Division Two Men category with an outstanding 45 points and in the Division Two Ladies Category, Jennifer Murigu secured victory with 38 points and Wahu Nyairo emerged as the winner of the Division Three category with 36 points.

The Junior Category was won by Wanjiku Mathu with 36 points while the Staff Category saw Daniel Chege emerge victorious after a countback finishing with 37 points.

NCBA Group Director of Retail Banking Tirus Mwithiga said they are thrilled with the turnout and the level of competition witnessed in the tourney and thanked the golfers for making the event a success.

Following the event, the top performers secured their slots to play at the Series Grand Finale and they include the Division 1 Male and Female Winners, Division 2 Male and Female Winners, the Overall Winner of Division 3, and the top performer in the Junior category.
