Kabras Sugar, the current leaders of the 2024 National Sevens Circuit, are looking to extend their winning streak as they headline Group A in the upcoming Kabeberi Sevens.

The team has already secured victories in the opening leg of the Christie Sevens earlier this month and the Dala Sevens held last weekend in Kisumu, positioning themselves as strong contenders for their third consecutive circuit win.

Group A, which features Kabras Sugar alongside Nakuru RFC, Strathmore Leos, and Impala RFC, promises to be fiercely competitive.

Kabras Sugar will kick off their campaign on Saturday with a highly anticipated match against Strathmore Leos at 9:20 am, shortly after Nakuru RFC and Impala RFC open the tournament at 9:00 am.

Kabras Sugar's squad is confident in their ability to maintain their dominance and will look to leverage their recent form to secure another victory.

The Kabeberi Sevens tournament, set to commence at RFUEA Grounds, will host over 24 matches on Saturday, providing a full day of thrilling rugby action starting from 9:00 am.

Following the Kabras vs. Strathmore clash, Catholic Monks will face Kisumu RFC at 9:40 am, and the Menengai Oilers will take on Stallions Rugby at 10:00 am.

As the day progresses, other notable matchups include KCB Rugby versus MKU Thika at 11:00 am, where KCB will seek to showcase their strength early in the tournament. MMUST will face off against Mwamba RFC at 11:20 am to conclude the first round of fixtures.

The women's competition also starts with Northern Suburbs playing against Ruck It at 11:40 am, followed by a match between Mwamba Ladies and Meru Ladies at noon.

The day will continue with other crucial encounters, including KCB Rugby going head-to-head with Mwamba RFC at 2:20 pm, a key fixture for both teams.

The final matches of the second round will take place at 4:40 pm, where Kabras Sugar will meet Nakuru RFC in what could be one of the day's highlight matches.

With the intensity building throughout the day, Menengai Oilers and Catholic Monks will clash at 5:00 pm, followed by a much-anticipated showdown between Kenya Harlequin and Nondescripts at 5:20 pm.

The day's action will conclude with MMUST taking on KCB Rugby at 5:40 pm, as both teams look to end on a high note.

As the National Sevens Circuit leaders, Kabras Sugar is determined to continue their winning streak and showcase why they are the team to beat this season.

Their solid performances in previous tournaments have set a high standard, and the team is confident of maintaining their momentum at the Kabeberi Sevens.

With a packed schedule and top-tier teams vying for supremacy, the Kabeberi Sevens promises to deliver an exciting day of rugby, with Kabras Sugar's continued dominance as the focal point.
