Jose Mourinho set several unwanted records in Tottenham's loss at West Ham on Sunday.
Goals from Michail Antonio and Jesse Lingard saw the Hammers consolidate their place in the top four.
But the reverse deepens Tottenham's woes and piles more pressure on Mourinho.
The Portuguese boss has now seen his side lost five of their last six in the league as their top-four hopes are dealt another blow.
It means his three-point haul from the last 18 available is the worst run of form in Mourinho's managerial career.
Throughout his time in the dugout the 58-year-old has been renowned for leading defensively solid teams.
But you wouldn't have known that had you tuned in to their defeat at the London Stadium.
Antonio's goal came after just five minutes and was owing to some questionable defending.
Lingard then doubled West Ham's lead within two minutes of the restart.
It was the first time Mourinho had ever seen a team of his conceded in the opening five minutes of each half.
Such a performance was certainly not the way the Tottenham boss would've wanted to celebrate his 50th league match in charge.
He was appointed in November 2019 but has been able to amass just 81 points in his half century of games - the lowest total of his career by some distance.
Mourinho has managed some of the continents biggest teams and picked up over 100 points in both spells as Chelsea boss.
He got 123 points in 50 matches at Real Madrid and 113 in the same period at Inter Milan.
Even in his ill-fated Manchester United spell he picked up 95 points.
Forward Lucas Moura conceded that something has to change at Tottenham as he bemoaned the manner of their defending.
He told the BBC: "We need to do better. The two goals we conceded we cannot concede goals like this. We need to learn from our mistakes.
"It's missing something. But we need to look forward. There are a lot of games to play. We need to improve."
