Manchester United, the club with the longest away unbeaten streak since 2020 travel to Craven Cottage, London tonight to play Fulham who remain rooted in the Premier League relegation dog fight.

Following that famous draw at Anfield, Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer he’s the right man for the Old Trafford job, considering the Red Devils are three points clear of Liverpool at the top of the table.

"Hopefully I have proven that I can help the club going forwards. Personally, I have felt very strong backing and leadership from the club, which has made the journey that we've been on - ups and downs – clear," the Norwegian told press on Tuesday, anticipating another good performance on the road.

"The position we are in now is due to loads of hard work by everyone. We are halfway through the season and we are up there. It is not about getting there once - that is the easy bit to go up the league," added Solskjaer.

Man United’s Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw and Bruno Fernandes are all a booking away from a suspension, therefore, Solskjaer could rest or substituted one prematurely.

Pogba is in good form and looks likely to start, in a midfield three completed by holding Serbian Nemanja Matic. Rashford and Cavani are expected to provide goals upfront. Brandon Williams, Marcos Rojo and Phil Jones are all unavailable.

Fulham boss Scott Parker feels the club has progressed positively since the start of the season and will look to grab one, if not three points off Man United.

"We've done remarkably well considering where we were at the start of the season. We were probably the laughing stock in terms of how people were portraying us. You can see a real drastic improvement in our overall game. There was a narrative around us at the start of this season and that narrative was probably helped by the previous time we were in this division,” said Parker.

Antonee Robinson and Bobby Decordova-Reid are both suspended following a red card against Chelsea and an accumulation of yellow cards respectively. Terence Kongolo and Mario Lemina are all doubtful due to injury.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek returns after missing the defeat to Chelsea due to ineligibility, as Aleksandar Mitrovic could also make a return from injury.

EXPECTED LINEUPS:

Fulham: Areola, Andersen, Aina, Adarabioyo, Tete, Bryan, Loftus-Cheek, Cavaleiro, Anguissa, Reed, Lookman.

Manchester United: De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Bailly, Maguire, Shaw, Pogba, Matic, Martial, Rashford, Cavani, Fernandes

TIME: 11:15 EAST AFRICAN TIME (EAT)
