Several Chavakali Boys High School students injured in accident

A student from Chavakali Boys High School has died following a road accident on the Kisumu-Kakamega Highway.
The student died on the spot in the Monday night road accident and was taken to the Jaramogi Teaching and Referral Mortuary.
Injured students have been rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Nyanza Regional Traffic Commander Allan Mwangi said officers are currently visiting hospitals to ascertain the exact number of casualties.

"My officers are at the scene while others are currently visiting different hospitals to ascertain the exact number of injured students.What we can confirm so far is that one student is dead," he said.
The students were aboard an Easy coach bus and were travelling from their school in Western to Nairobi for the school holiday, when the bus overturned.
