A woman was seen dragging a man to Kisii Central Police Station on Wednesday evening leaving onlookers and police officers at the station in stitches.
The man, who initially attempted to resist following the lady had to cooperate to avoid embarrassment as he was dragged by the collar of his shirt from the gate to the report office of the station.
Sources at the station revealed to The Standard that the suspect who had just been released from the station after he was arrested earlier today while drinking alcohol before the official bar operating hours was spotted by the lady who is said to be running a wines and spirit business in Menyinkwa, the outskirts of Kisii town where he had taken beer worth 800 and left without her noticing last night.
"The suspect had just been released after he was arrested in a bar in town that was defying operating hours and the lady whom he owes saw him as he walked outside the station" said a police officer who could not be named because of her rank.
