Former KTN News anchor Michael Oyier is dead.

Oyier died at around 2:30 pm while receiving treatment at a Nairobi Hospital, his family has confirmed.

The seasoned journalist worked as an anchor and presenter at Standard Group for nine years before exiting in 2012.

He later proceeded to offer counseling services and progressively became an executive leadership coach until his demise.

Oyier was also a certified Psychologist.

He was the second-born in a family of five and is survived by his two daughters.
