Karting speedster Krrish Vadgama is over the moon for his fast and flat-out antics on asphalt.

Krrish held first position with 36 out of 36 laps, split into 3 heats of 12 rounds each during the Inaugural Kenya Rotax Max Challenge (KRMC) at Whistling Morans

The race was held courtesy of Cungu Motorsports of South Africa and accredited by Rotax Max Challenge.

Krrish scored the fastest times on all 3 heats and also the fastest time overall, much to his credit.

The Nairobi based youngter did it in bravado with quality driving lines, which he believes are closer to his racing targets.

"I felt much better on my go kart than ever before, and results speak for themselves,"Krrish quipped.

With an apparently insatiable appetite for success, Krrish scored a total of 105 points to win the event at the Whistling Morans in Athi River beating Magana Luusa (96 pts) and Aahyal Shah (89 pts) to a scintillating podium dash.

After the race, Krrish was all smiles, and here is what he had to say: "My driving lines are closer to where I want them to be. The track at Whistling Morans has always been fun to drive especially because the dynamics were changed to anti clockwise the track felt like another track ....I'm happy and excited "for the win, I mean, it hasn't sunk in yet given that this is a new championship" that will hold more rounds in 2025. I am happy to win an entry into the Rotax Finals that will be held in South Africa in 2025 and a custom Kenya suit and superb trophy.

In the race, Ryan Kariuki (84 pts),Alvin Kioko (83 pts), and Mutuma Kimathi (56 pts) finished fourth, fifth and sixth respectively.

Mutuma Kimathi was nominated as driver of the day for his exceptional performance.

Newly crowned Kenya National Champion Myles Imbayi (29 pts) and Zahran Mogul (26 pts) both suffered two DNFs apiece to settle for seventh and eighth respectively.

The race was held under the the 2024 Kenyan ROTAX Max Challenge Sporting Regulations (KRMC SSR's), Rotax Global Technical Regulations, the KRMC Supplementary Technical Regulations, K Bambino Sporting and Technical Regulations as well as the Final Instructions which were issued.

The new event is open to all drivers whose karts and engines comply with the ROTAX Global Technical regulations and KRMC Supplementary Technical Regulation for the specific classes plus all applicable 2024 KMSF Rotax Circulars issued.
