Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois apparently got with Kevin De Bruyne’s girlfriend Caroline Lijnen by listening to her and preparing her a delicious meal!

Lijnen has confirmed and explained the affair in an interview with Belgian publication Story Magazine. She said she cheated on Kevin de Bruyne because the winger had cheated on her earlier in their relationship with her best friend.

After that bump in the road, the pair decided to give it another go, but Lijnen went on a trip to Madrid alone. That's when she met Chelsea and Belgium goalkeeper Courtois  behind De Bruyne’s back, as she details in her interview with Belgium magazine Sport.

‘Kevin told me he had an affair with my old best friend. I was ready to give him another chance but our relationship was never the same,’ she explained.

‘I then went to Madrid [where Courtois was on-loan] and something happened that should never had happened. Thibaut offered me something I’d not had in three-years.

‘I could talk about anything and he had even prepare me a delicious meal.

‘Kevin never did that for me.’
