After successfully hosting the eighth leg of the KCB Tour last weekend, the hilly Nakuru Golf Club layout will host the Chairman (Mandeep Sahota) 2023/24 prize on Saturday.

So far, 125 golfers have been drawn for the daylong minute from among the clubs' membership and guest golfers from across the country.

Welcoming golfers for a memorable golf outing, Sahota has promised those who will grace the meet a great day of camaraderie and networking.

The tournament is presented by NCBA, Prime Bank, First Assurance, West Valley Sugar, Mbogo Valley, Kipchimchim Group, Kenya Hydraulics, Hotel Waterbuck - Nakuru, Vangreen Enterprises, and Mumias Sugar Company. Others are Jai J Mart, Oline Retreads, Kenjap Limited, Camco, Generation Tyres, Maxine Creations, Nakuru Press Limited, Fana Studios, Liberty Cancer and Wellness Center, MB Graphics, Coolridge Water, Sahota Body Works, Super Mabati and supported by Friends of the Chairman.

"I extend my invitation to all golfers from near and far to my Chairman's prize this Saturday. Come put your golf skills to the test as you compete for the wide array of great prizes," Sahota said.

He has served on the club's Main committee as a member and Greenkeeper before becoming the Vice-chairman and eventually as the Chairman for two years.

An avid member of the Sikh Golfing Society and Kenya Golf Society, he will be remembered for steering the club through its centenary celebrations in 2023 when he hosted 77 sponsored tournaments while at the helm.
