Over 110 golfers will be at the Par 72 Nyanza Golf Club course in Kisumu County this weekend testing their skills and battling for honours in the sixth leg of the ongoing KCB East Africa Golf Tour.
The 18-hole stable ford tournament is expected to produce two teams to seal a spot in the grand finale to be held at the Karen Country Club later this year.
Eight teams have so far qualified from the previous five series played at Vetlab, Limuru, Railways, Eldoret and Kakamega.
Nyanza Golf Club Captain Thomas Odongo said they welcome the series to one of the most challenging golf courses in the country and that it will be interesting to see how various golfers will navigate the course.
"The course is in great shape following the current rains. We as a club have done everything to ensure the success of the series and we hope to have a good outing," said Odongo.
