Mihic takes over from Zedekiah 'Zico' Otieno, who had been serving as interim coach since last year in November when Leonardo Neiva was dismissed for poor results.

Otieno will return to his assistant coach role, while Michael Nam will also remain as one of the new coach's deputies.

Notably, Mihic has experience working in Africa, having been an assistant manager at Sudanese club Al-Merrikh in 2009 and at Libyan side Al Nasr in 2010.
