After a two-week break, the FKF Premier League returns with an exciting round of fixtures on Saturday, with teams' eager to improve following mixed results in the previous round.

A notable match to keep an eye on is Nairobi City Stars, who will host Sofapaka at Machakos Stadium from 1pm.

Both teams will be looking to secure their first win of the season, as they currently find themselves in the relegation zone.

Nairobi City Stars, currently 16th on the table with just one point from three matches, are desperate for a turnaround.

Their last match ended in a 2-1 defeat to AFC Leopards, leaving them in need of an improved performance to climb out of the danger zone.

Sofapaka, sitting at the bottom of the table with no points after four matches, will also be looking to bounce back after suffering a narrow 1-0 loss to Bandari.

This clash between two teams in search of redemption could provide the perfect platform for a thrilling contest.

Another fixture to look forward to is the battle between Bandari and Murang'a SEAL at Mombasa Sports Club from 2pm.

Bandari are coming off a solid 1-0 win over Sofapaka and currently sit fifth in the standings with six points from three matches.

Murang'a, meanwhile, are in fourth place with seven points and will be keen to maintain their unbeaten run after a 1-1 draw with Mara Sugar.

KCB, the current league leaders with 10 points, will face Kakamega Homeboyz in Murang'a.

KCB have been in excellent form, having secured a 1-0 win over Ulinzi Stars in their previous match. Homeboyz, on the other hand, are 13th in the standings with two points, and they are coming off a 1-0 loss to Kariobangi Sharks.

With KCB aiming to extend their lead at the top, this match promises to be a crucial test for both sides.

Lastly, defending Gor Mahia, fresh from a dominant 4-0 win over Mathare United, will visit Awendo Stadium to take on Mara Sugar.

Gor Mahia are 10th in the standings, but they have played only one match so far. Mara Sugar will be looking to upset one of the league's giants as they seek to continue their impressive start to the season.
