Bandari on Saturday moved joint top of the FKF Premier League table after narrowly seeing off Sofapaka 1-0 in their third match of the 2024-2025 campaign played at Machakos Stadium.

Beja Nyamawi scored the lone goal of the match at the stroke of half time as the visitors claimed their second win of the season albeit stretching their unbeaten run to three matches.

Victory lifted the Dockers joint top alongside KCB and Kariobangi Sharks all with seven points.

Bandari began the season with a 1-1 draw against Posta Rangers before narrowly edging out Mara Sugar 1-0 in their second outing. Last weekend, the team got a rest with their opponents Gor Mahia away in Egypt for CAF Champions League assignments.

At Utalii Grounds in Nairobi, FC Talanta rallied from behind to salvage a 1-1 draw against Bidco United with a last-minute goal.

Anthony Akhulia's Bidco side, seeking their first win of the season after two draws and a loss, took the lead in the 76th minute through Peter Nzuki.

However, despite Bidco's hopes for their maiden victory, Talanta, under the guidance of Jackline Juma, equalized deep into stoppage time to earn a share of the points.
