Kenya Police Bullets shoot Simba Queens to reach CAF Champions League qualifiers finals

Kenya Police Bullets are one win away from qualifying for their maiden 2024-2025 CAF Women’s Champions League appearance.
The FKF Women’s Premier League champions came from behind on Monday to stun Tanzanian giants Simba Queens 3-2 in the semifinals of the CECAFA zonal qualifiers played at the Abebe Bikila Stadium in Ethiopia.
The Tanzanian giants were favorites to win the qualifiers after dominating CECAFA in the past two years but Kenya Police who are seeking to emulate Vihiga Queens who featured during the inaugural event in 2021 played in Egypt.
Lucy Kwekwe, Diana Wacera and Becky netted the bullets goals.
The battle for this year's silverware piece will see Police Bullets aspire to win the glorious tournament, cementing their legacy in the action that has seen hundreds of locally grown talents outshine each other in Ethiopia.

The Beldine Odemba squad will aim to make their opponents' stars cry in desperation as the last deserving two clubs start their battle for the title.
The club's executive chairman SAIG Nyale Munga has termed their win as marvellous display of fine talent ahead of the finals this week.
"We are now East Africa's power house and nothing will stop our quest for major glory" said Nyale.
Bullets will now face the winner of the second semifinal between Kawempe Muslim and Commercial Bank of Ethiopia in the final.
Experienced national team tactician Beldine Odemba will enlist the services of Harambee Starlets skipper Annedy Kundu, Elizabeth Ochaka, and Christine Nafula in their quest for Continental glory, Norah Anne, Stella Oduor, Nelly Sawe, Juliet Andibo, Elizabeth Ochaka, Leah Andiema, and Qand Quinter Owiti will aim to stem the opponents flow.
