Agoro Sare begun their title defense with a 1-1 draw with Kisumu Day in their rescheduled opening match played on Thursday. The match was postponed on Wednesday due to fan trouble.

The win lifted the team to top of Group A with four points same as Koderobara.

Koderobara played out a 0-0 draw with Ong’icha before stunning Kisumu Day 2-1.

The result means Kisumu Day must beat Ong’icha with more than three goals and hope Koderobara loses to Agoro to progress.
