Defending champions Kisumu Day High School will hope to put behind their Friday's poor show when they face off against Katolo in the semifinals of the Kisumu County Secondary School Term Two games which will end on Saturday at Maseno School.

Favorites Kisumu Day shockingly lost to Nyakoko 2-0 during their last preliminary Group A match on Friday.

The defeat however did little harm since the former Nyanza Region champions had booked a spot in the last four when the games kicked off on Thursday.

Kisumu Day had humbled hosts Maseno School 3-0 before thrashing Kasagam 4-0 in their two opening matches.

A win in the semis will see Kisumu Day face off with either Kisumu Boys or Agai.

Kisumu Boys will play Agai in the second semis.

The match will be a repeat of Group B match up that Kisumu Boys won 1-0.
