Kakamega Homeboyz continued their impressive run against Tusker after edging out the brewers 2-1 as the FKF Premier League resumed from the international break on Saturday.

Homeboyz stunned Tusker (1-0) to lift their maiden FKF Cup in July.

Definitely, revenge was on the mind of Tusker who missed out on continental football but the hosts had other ideas as Ambrose Sifuna gave Homeboyz the lead inside the opening second minute.

Harambee Stars striker Moses Shumah would add salt to the wound after doubling the lead in the 17th minute following an assist from Hillary Otieno.

In the final half, Eric Zakyo pulled a goal back for Tusker who could not add any more as Robert Matano lost his first match of the season.

At Nyayo Stadium, AFC Leopards winless run continued after being held to a 0-0 draw by Muhoroni Youth. Leopards began the season with a 0-0 draw against FC Talanta before losing 1-0 to KCB.

In Mombasa, a first-half strike by Hassan Abdallah was enough to hand Bandari a 1-0 win over Ulinzi Stars at Mbaraki Sports Complex.

At Raila Odinga Stadium, Shabana were held to a 1-1 draw by Kenya Police who scored at the death to salvage a point in Homa Bay County.

Peter Ogechi thought he had secured Shabana's first win of the season when he scored in the 88th minute just for Clinton Kinanga to salvage a point for the law enforcers in the 94th minute.

In Bungoma, Dan Wafula and Desmond Agofa scored for Nzoia Sugar and Bidco United respectively as the two sides played out to a 1-1 draw at Sudi Stadium.
