Why Harambee Stars missed Saturday's flight to Mauritius

Harambee Stars will now fly out to Mauritius on Monday after failing to get flights to the Indian Ocean island nation on Saturday.
Kenya is expected to participate in a four nation tournament that starts today at Anjalay Coopen Stadium. The other teams are Mauritius, Pakistan and Djibouti.
Consequently, their Sunday's match against Djibouti has been cancelled, meaning Engin Firat's boys will only play against Pakistan and Mauritius.
In a statement, FKF CEO Barry Otieno said: "The national team Harambee Stars will travel to Mauritius on Monday June 12 due to unavailability of flights to Mauritius. The team was originally scheduled to travel on Saturday.

"The change of itinerary also means that Kenya will now play two matches instead of the planned three due to Fifa regulations on player rest days between matches."
Meanwhile, US-based midfielder Richard Odada says he can't wait to don Harambee Stars colours again as the national team prepare to travel to Mauritius for a four nation tournament.
"First of all, we feel great to be back in action. We have a number of new faces in the team, but we are looking forward to playing some great football.
"I was excited when I was called into the team. It's my turn to do my best and make the country proud. In modern football anybody can win against any team as long as you stay disciplined and do your part," said the Philadelphia Union midfielder.
