AFC Leopards poor form in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League continued on Saturday after a 1-0 loss to Bidco United at Thika County Stadium.

Bidco United went ahead in the 55th minute when Emmanuel Mogaka scored from the penalty spot.

The defeat now leaves Leopards winless in their last five matches.

With just one win in seven games, Leopards are 16th on the log while Bidco United moved to the 11th position with nine points.

The loss sees Ingwe drop to the relegation zone with four points.

In Bungoma, Kakamega Homeboyz defeated hosts Nzoia Sugar 1-0 at Sudi Stadium to extend their unbeaten run to six matches.

Stephen Opoku’s goal in the 65th minute was enough to hand Homeboyz all three points.

Victory also saw the Kakamega-side stretch its unbeaten run to six matches as Nzoia Sugar continue lingering in the relegation zone with two points, a point above bottom placed Vihiga Bullets.

The win saw Homeboyz leapfrog record Kenyan champions Gor Mahia who will not be in action this weekend owing to their Caf Confederation Cup assignment.

They now have 16 points, two more than Gor Mahia.

Meanwhile, Wazito ended their four match winless streak with a narrow 1-0 victory over Ulinzi Stars as Sofapaka saw off newbies Kenya Police 2-0.

The last match of the day saw Talanta defeat Mathare United 2-0 to move seventh in the log.
