Nyangweso replaces Stephen Ocholla, who has been in charge since June last year.

Confirming the report, the soldiers said Nyangweso had been away on official duty. Nyangweso served as an assistant coach at Ulinzi Stars before taking charge as head coach.

He then left the four-time Kenyan Premier League champions mid last year on deployment. His vast experience will be put to test when Ulinzi Stars take on Wazito FC in Nakuru, on Saturday, before heading to Ruaraka to face Tusker FC on February 12.

The return leg will be on February 16. The soldiers will be back in Nakuru to play KCB, on February 22. ?
