Mohamed Salah is facing an uncertain future at Liverpool ahead of the summer transfer window, and could be offered a route away from Anfield.

The Egyptian forward is locked in a race with Harry Kane for the Premier League Golden Boot.

He scored against West Brom on Sunday to take his tally to 22 for the season, but it could be his final campaign in England if reports in France are to be believed.

French outlet L'Equipe claims Paris Saint-Germain have been in touch with his representatives over a possible move.

While talks are only at a preliminary stage at the moment, there's every chance they'll look to launch a bid depending on what happens in the final few weeks of the season.

PSG are sweating over the future of Kylian Mbappe, who will be out of contract in just over a year's time.

The French World Cup-winner has been locked in negotiations over an extension to his contract, but is yet to put pen to paper.

And with the likes of Real Madrid and Liverpool circling, it isn't out of the question that Mbappe will decide to try out a new league after spending the first part of his career in Ligue 1.

As a result of the uncertainty over Mbappe's future, PSG officials are starting to draw up contingency plans, with Salah reportedly a potential option.

PSG are one of the few teams in the world with the financial firepower required to test Liverpool's resolve, with the Reds unlikely to let him go on the cheap.

Salah's contract will expire in 2023, and he admitted earlier this month that he is yet to be approached about an extension.

He said: "No one is talking to me about that, so I can't say much about that.

"No one in the club is talking to me about anything so I do not know."

Interest from PSG is sure to test Liverpool's resolve and could force them to speed up their negotiations with the forward.
