Bandari Football Club's technical director Twahir Muhiddin has predicted a tough battle when the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) season starts.
Muhiddin said following the Sh1.2 billion sponsorship by BetKing announced by Football Kenya Federation (FKF), all the teams will have the resources to fight for the title.
"If it is true that KPL has secured the huge sponsorship deal, then we expect a tough season when football action resumes," said Muhiddin, a former Harambee Stars coach, while urging players to continue with individual training.
"Individual fitness will be given priority when the league resumes and as technical bench, we expect all the players to be on top form," he said.
At the same time, the club's captain Shaban Kenga has urged the players to be honest with their training regime given by coach Ken Odhiambo.

“I know players are training on their own and others in small groups to bring their fitness levels back but this should be done with a lot of honesty,” Kenga said.
“Since the coronavirus pandemic is still on, I urge players to be sincere with their training programmes,” he said.
However, Kenga asked the players to observe the health guidelines laid down by the government.
