Global betting brand 1xBet recently announced a landmark partnership agreement with Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF)

1xBet will now officially sponsor CAF tournaments in Africa, including the prestigious Total Africa Cup of Nations. 2019 marks changes to this showcase event, with a record 24 teams lining up to compete. The sponsorship will also include Club tournaments such as the Total CAF Super Cup, Total CAF Confederation Cup and the Total CAF Champions League.

All official digital platforms of the CAF will now include 1xBet. Both CAF social media and the official website will feature 1xBet prominently.  Furthermore, in-stadium advertising of 1xBet will be present during all official matches. This will be in the form of LED panels, on reserve benches, in the interview area and on the 3d carpet.

Both 1xBet and the CAF have enthused about the bright future prospects of such a partnership.

A 1xBet spokesperson re-iterated the firms “ support and development of international football on the African continent”. CAF president Ahmad Ahmad expressed confidence that the sponsorship will be of great benefit to football in the region stating that the “user-friendly platform will help raise the profile of African teams”. He went on to praise 1xBet as a firm that “has changed the image of online betting.”
