Kariobangi Sharks beat Tanzania’s Yanga in thrilling SportPesa Cup match

Two Kenyan football teams pulled major upsets against Tanzanian teams to qualify for the semi finals of the third edition of Sportpesa Cup tournament in Dar es Salaam. Bandari from Mombasa and making their debut in the tournament cruised 1-0 past Tanzanian Mainland Premier League side Singida to become the first team to qualify for the Friday's semifinals. The upset of the day was Kariobangi Sharks when they bundled out Tanzanian soccer giants Yanga FC 3-2 in a a scrappy quarter final match. 

Other two Kenyan football giants Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards will be in action tomorrow at the same venue. K'Ogalo face Mbao while AFC Leopards will be up against Tanzanian soccer champions Simba FC
