Aubameyang  £53m Arsenal talk

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has added further fuel to the fire over a possible Arsenal transfer by posing for a picture with a fan wearing a Gunners scarf, according to the Mirror.

The north Londoners are currently in talks to sign the Borussia Dortmund striker who was axed from the Bundesliga side’s matchday squad on Sunday following an off-field incident.

Aubameyang missed a team meeting on Saturday is now set to hold talks over his future with the club.

BVB want £60million for the Gabon forward, which is currently proving a stumbling block for Arsenal.

Arsenal eye move for Aubameyang

Arsenal have held transfer talks with Borussia Dortmund over a sensational move for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Aubameyang, 28, would be the superstar calibre of signing that Arsenal believe would soften the blow of Alexis Sanchez. Manchester United are red hot favourites to land Sanchez with discussions ongoing over a player-plus-cash deal.

Arsenal’s new recruitment chief Sven Mislintat knows both players from his time at Borussia.
