Ugandan import George Abege is among nine players axed by Bandari football club and are free to join a club of their choice.

Team Manager Alfred Obwaka confirmed that the club will have only 24 players registered for the 2017 season.

“Each position will have two players each and we have decided not to have more than 24 players for easy management,” added Obwaka.

He said they are in negotiations with four players to join the team after capturing the signature of former Thika United assistant captain Michael Luvutsi.

Other players who have parted ways with the coastal club are goalkeeper Kenneth Onyach and Abdulatif Omar among others.
