Boarding schools, not all but many, tend to have porridge as their power breakfast. It was mainly white with less or no sugar.

Those who had to wake up every morning to this use it as a reason to not like porridge. They equate that experience to trauma.

The good news is that this is not the only way to make porridge. You can spice up this delicacy in many ways which will make you forget about the white sugarless breakfast you had for more than two years.

One can use different grains like sorghum, millet, and ground nuts among others. There is an option of taking it unfermented and adding margarine, milk, or lemon.

We shall be focusing on using more than one type of grain to make fermented porridge. The grains however have to be ground first.
