Former State House spokesperson Kanze Dena has rubbished claims that she is unwell.

This is after the internet was awash with rumours that she was battling cancer.

Through a post on social media, the former news anchor said she is alive and healthy and her eyes are firmly on Christ.

“Life na good oh!. Not EXITING this race called LIFE anytime soon. Fixing my eye on Jesus the Author and finisher of my life.

“I stand and declare God's word that He shall honour me and Satisfy me with long life. No evil shall befall me, neither shall any plague come near my dwelling. I shall live to declare the works of the Lord in the land of the leaving,” she wrote.

Adding: “GOD I thank you for your word for it shall not go out and return void.
I am confident of this Every tongue that raises itself against me in judgement is condemned. This is my heritage.”

This is not the first time Kanze has trended for the wrong reasons as she was once body-shamed over her appearance during a presser at Sagana Lodge in 2021.

Making her first public appearance after returning from maternity leave, Kanze became a troll target over her perceived weight gain and several celebrities came out to support her.

At the time, comedian Terence Creative advised Kanze not to pay even a fraction of her attention to the trolls.

“Just gone through some trolls that people send to Kanze and it’s disheartening. I experience this every day. I see people insult us because of our size and wonder what really makes them happy but I realize, I am not the problem, they are. Kanze, this too shall pass. Usistress, ata ukikonda bado hawata kupenda, uliza Eric Omondi. Just be yourself, God shall deal with them,” he wrote.
