The University of Nairobi students have benefited from a global flagship Management Trainee programme championed by Huawei, equipping them with the latest technologies and getting first-hand experiences enhancing their practical skills.

The Huawei Management Trainee Program held its first campus workshop this year at the University’s main campus in Nairobi, intending to identify and develop fresh talent in the ICT sector.

“The program themed 'The Sky Is the Limit', whose registration period ends on May 31, 2024, aims at equipping university graduates with ICT skills and placing them at the top in the industry, including offering them employment opportunities at the end of the training,” Huawei said in a release.

Among those in attendance during the training were; the Dean of Students at UoN, Steve Kamuya, and Fang Zheng, the Human Resource Director at Huawei Kenya.

The flagship programme has been in existence since 2018, witnessing a total of one hundred and thirty-three (133) fresh graduates absorbed by Huawei Kenya.
