71-Golfers set for Jaramogi Oginga Odinga memorial tournament

Kisumu’s Nyanza Golf club will be playing host to the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga memorial golf tournament.

 Jaramogi memorial Golf Tournament will be marking the 28th Anniversary of Kenya's Doyen of Opposition Politics.

 The tournament served as an opportunity to bring together people from diverse sectors in a competitive event for all handicapped golfers whilst also facilitating discussions, linkages, enjoyment and promoting peace in the country.

 This year, the tournament will see a field of 71 players including those from the neighbouring Kakamega County will be battling it out for the win set for Friday and Saturday this week.

 On Friday, will see S. Onyango and J. Ocholla, toe at 8am followed by  E. Lusinde at 8.10am. C. Obare, J. Odera, A. Gondi and T. Omore will take the course at 8.20am while C. N Makau, J. Omollo, D. Omollo, D. Odhiambo(pro) will come at 8.30am.

 Others are S. Odunga, R. Obara, P.E at 9am, J. Mundia, P. Oloo, J. Atito and B. V Patel at 9.20am, S. Misiani, C. Anyonyi and J. Songwa at 9.40am, J. Odongo, A. Wakoli, Prof. Attyang' at 10am, V. Amusala, G. Owino, E. Akinyi, M. Makonyango at 10.30am, S. Trio of Amusala, R. Owuor, Dr. Jimbo will play at 11.30am. The last team of Dr. M. Oloo, A. Ojonyo and T. Odongo will wrap up for the day at noon.

 Saturday will see, J. Muhanji, P. Otieno, D. Riaro 8am, T. Agumbi, J. Songwa, L. Nyambogo jnr, P.E 8.30am, I. Opakas, N. Nyambogo jnr, O. Abubakar, P.E at 9am, S. Oburu, B. Bisonga, M. Oduor, S. I Ogejo sat 9.15am N. Oburu, J. K' Anjejo, P. Chepkemboi, P.E9.30am, J. Osike, I. Ashioya, H. Ikhohoro, G. Karioki, 10am, Dr. Lusi, J. Akhonya, F. Chemutai, P.E, 1030am, M. Okelo,J. Ashioya, J. Okech, G. Onyango at 11am, R. ?
