Nolito appears to be moving towards the Manchester City exit door just a year after joining the club in a £13.8million move from Celta Vigo.

The 30-year-old fell out of favour with Pep Guardiola this season, barely featuring for the Citizens after Christmas. He now looks set to be a victim of Guardiola's summer clear out when the transfer window opens next month.

The winger has been linked with a loan move to Sevilla and was spotted an ice cream parlor in the city's Nervión Plaza shopping mall alongside Sevilla sporting director Oscar Arias.

He also claims that he wants to leave Manchester because of the horrible weather that has made his daughter to “change color”-According to The Sun

Sevilla are one of a number of clubs interested in signing the Spain international, with Celta, Atletico Madrid and Real Betis all looking at him, but Sevilla are reportedly in the box seat after agreeing to pay his full €4million salary for the season.

Nolito's former coach at Celta Eduardo Berizzo is in charge at Sevilla following the departure of Jorge Samaoli.

As well as Nolito's likely departure, City are also set to offload as many as 12 other players as Guardiola's looks to finance a £300million rebuild at the Etihad.

City have already splashed out £43million for Monaco's Bernardo Silva, while a £35million move for goalkeeper Ederson has also been sanctioned.

Pablo Zabaleta, Jesus Navas, Gael Clichy, Bacary Sagna and Willy Caballero have left the club after seeing their contracts expire.
