Auction Terms and Conditions

  1. AS-IS, WHERE IS Basis: All assets are sold in their current condition and location without any warranties.
  2. Bidder Registration and Security Deposit: Interested bidders must register and submit a refundable bid security deposit of 15% of the total bid value for each asset. Deposits are payable at SBI Offices.
  3. Duty Charges: Bidders are responsible for applicable duty charges. Estimated charges are indicative; bidders should verify these with the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) before the auction.
  4. Viewing Arrangements: Prospective bidders can arrange to view the auction assets at their respective locations. A refundable fee of Sh100,000 is required for a general viewing visit. Site visits are available during business hours on weekdays and until midday on Saturdays. Visits must be scheduled in advance via email at sbi@sbi-kenya.co.ke or by calling 0711053500.
  5. Tax Assessment and Bond Release: The disposing client must engage with KRA for tax assessment and bond release before asset release.
  6. Ownership Transfer Costs: Bidders are responsible for all costs associated with the transfer of ownership of the assets.
  7. Further Terms and Conditions: Additional terms will be provided in correspondence with interested bidders.
  8. Bid Submission Deadline: Bids will be accepted at our offices along Gitanga Road, Opposite First Assurance, in Nairobi up to June 30, 2024.
