With Most Valuable Player (MVP) Cecilia Atieno firing from all corners, dropping three pointers and layups at ease, Ng'iya finished the four day championships unbeaten as they book their ticket to the national finals once again.

Speaking after helping Ng'iya win the regional title, coach Naftali Ambala congratulated his players stating that they will be going for a podium finish at the nationals.

Amabala explained that the team lacked experience last year when they graced the national finals for the first time but this year their team is strong and raring to go.

"Team work and support from the administration has helped lift Ng'iya Girls to nationals again. We are happy for the win but our job is not yet done. East Africa is the ceiling for us and we will be going back to the drawing board," said Amabala.
