Ng’iya Girls are through to the Nyanza Region Secondary School basketball 3x3 quarterfinals.

The Siaya County champions saw off Oyugi Ogango 21-5 after humbling Homa Bay County champions 16-8 in their opening match.

Speaking after the win, Ng’iya coach Naftali Ambala said they are just warming up for the knock out stages.

“We have been doing this since Term One and the difference now is half court, a technicality that we have adapted to since last year when we went all the way to the nationals," said the Siaya County champions.

“Last year we made progress without necessarily winning titles but this year, we are going for all possible titles available."
