Kenya will be seeking to improve on their second-place finish during the first leg of the Rugby Africa Solidarity Sevens tournament when they take on hosts South Africa and Zimbabwe on Friday.

Shujaa will be back in action at the Markötter Stadium for the final leg of the Stellenbosch tournament at 10.20 am East African Time when they entertain Zimbabwe who they defeated last week 24-0.

This week’s tournament will feature five teams; South Africa 1 and 2, Uganda, Kenya 7s and Zimbabwe. South Africa Sevens Academy will not be part of this weekend’s fixtures.

Kenya will then return to action at 12:30 pm to tackle South Africa 2 for the second match of the day before playing South Africa 1 at 3:10 pm in their final match of the day.

Shujaa finished second during the first leg and they will be keen to improve their performance.

Kenya lost 31-7 to South Africa 1 in the finals after previously losing to the same side 27-14 in the round-robin group matches.

The Rugby Africa Sevens camp will act as a competitive training camp including two tournament weekends for host South Africa, Uganda, Zimbabwe and Kenya as part of Tokyo Olympics preparations.

Alvin Otieno, Herman Humwa, Bush Mwale, Harold Anduvate, Vincent Onyala, Jeff Oluoch, Collins Injera, Daniel Taabu, Tony Omondi, Levi Amunga, Billy Odhiambo, Nelson Oyoo, Jacob Ojee, Derrick Keyog.
