Kenya’s Ferguson Rotich and Naomi Korir took second place in the Mixed 2x2x400m relay behind hosts Poland at the Chorzow's Silesian Stadium on Saturday night.

Joana Jozwik and Patryk Dobek claimed victory for the host nation in 3:40.92. Slovenia finished third.

In another podium finish, Kenya finished third in the mixed shuttle hurdles relay final in Silesia, Poland.

Mixed Shuttle Hurdles Relay:

Germany- 56.53s

Poland- 56.68s

Kenya - 59.89s

The World Athletics Relays has created many memorable moments in its previous four editions and this time there is also qualification for the Tokyo Olympic Games and World Athletics Championships Oregon22 up for grabs.

As well as the major championship events – the women’s and men’s 4x100m and 4x400m plus the mixed 4x400m – the programme also features the men's and women's 4x200m, mixed 2x2x400m and mixed shuttle hurdles relay.
