Makeka can be seen turning around and immediately dishing out a red card to the bemused defender.

What followed was madness. Realizing he is about to be sent off, defender Lethukuthula Mathe snapped and unleashed attack on the referee, punching the official several times.

What he didn’t expect was the official to start throwing punches back.

The referee does not appear to calm down throughout the footage and then he is dragged away  by his colleagues.
